Patience & God Prevail Above All Else
Updated: Jun 21, 2021
In these difficult times, you may find yourself struggling to be patient and constantly searching for answers to your questions. As the surrounding chaos continues to flow unchecked at times, dismay can settle into our hearts. However, we should not be disheartened, as God has a plan for everything. We need to trust in him and be patient, as the answers to our questions will be answered in time.
We need to have patience for those around us and ourselves and not to get tangled up in webs of insecurity, anger, and dismay. But, unfortunately, there have been times when I've felt my patience running thin and frustration building up inside me, feeling overwhelmed and uncertain all around me. Sometimes even about the minor details or events that have crossed my path.
"Do not worry. Learn to pray about everything. Give thanks to God as you ask Him for what you need."
-Philippians 4:6(NLV)
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;."
When worries or fears fill my heart, I turn to God and pray for his guidance and release from those chains that bind me. In prayer, I find comfort and insights into what I should do. God always answers me and guides me where I belong or what I should be doing. His patience is the most significant guiding light. When you're in His presence, you can bask in his glory. For we are all blessed and saved by His Grace
I had to learn to have patience as I gained an understanding of my purpose and calling on my life from God. It certainly wasn't easy at times, but when I thought I could bear it no more, I would pray, and in my prayers, I felt God's presence, bringing me peace and understanding. I no longer felt impatient or uncertain about what was happening. Instead, my eyes were opened, and a new understanding came to my mind and heart, "I've got this with the help of my Lord and savior."
We must hold fast and be patient as God leads us into the paths of others for us to help and lead them to his undying love and compassion. The pandemic has worked for my good rather than for destruction. With the world slowing down, we must look into our hearts and pray for guidance and clarity. Now is the time to build Yourself and our community up and spread the word, and walk-in your purpose with knowing God is for YOU! God's love.
